ABOUT THE NORTH WEST MCS

WHO WE ARE

All members of the Camping and Caravanning Club, and all makes of camping units are welcome to our meets.

During the course of the year we hold regular social weekend meets and host temporary holiday sites (THS’s). Many of our meets have a theme with entertainment and refreshments.

Our region is the largest section of the MCS. It borders the lovely Yorkshire Dales and extends from the Scottish Borders through the beautiful Lake District National Park, Morecambe Bay, Fylde Coast, Greater Manchester, Merseyside, Cheshire, and North Wales including the Isle of Anglesey, and The Isle of Man.

The stunning historic cities of Carlisle, Lancaster, Liverpool, Manchester, Chester and Bangor are all located within our area. The iconic resorts of Blackpool, Morecambe, Southport, Rhyl, Conway and Llandudno are popular tourist areas for meets and THS throughout the year.

BREAKING NEWS

Following our AGM, we have now received the unexpected news that our newly elected Chairman and Sites Officer have resigned, as they have sold their motorhome.

The remaining committee will be holding meetings to find a way forward. In the meantime, we desperately need volunteers to help with our section. If the section is to continue, we can only do it with your help and support.
